Missing the blue skies of summer this week so my theme is blue. I've been very cheeky and included one of my own bracelets in the feature this week !

Craft Fair at Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park

I'm having a stall at a weekend craft fair at Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park, Upper Malone Road, Belfast.

The craft fair is part of the Rose Week celebrations - it's on Sat 16 July, 11.00am to 5.30pm and Sunday 17 July, 1.30pm to 5.30pm

Aerial view of City of Belfast International Rose Garden

There will be children's activities, bands and beautiful parkland to enjoy.

I'm looking forward to it, I enjoy talking to the visitors and other stallholders.

Wish me luck!

Ballywalter

I forgot to take any photos today but I want to record it for my own memories.

An excellent day spent at a friend's caravan at Ballywalter.

I met up with two school friends, R and L and their sons - S and S, and D and P, along with my niece Kelsie and two of my nephews - Dean and Kyle.

The sun shone all day - we had our picnic lunch on the grass in front of the caravan.

The kids spent all afternoon on the beach and in the sea, only coming up again at 5ish to have tea of fish, burgers and chips.

They then played football for a while before going back into the water until 9pm.

I spent the afternoon catching up with R and L, it was a wonderful day.

Walled Garden at Greenmount Agricultural College, Co Antrim

A lovely day in Northern Ireland and a perfect day to visit the Walled Garden at Greenmount College
I have no clue about plants but I appreciate a beautiful garden to wander around and then sit and enjoy the setting.
You can see two fish in this photo - a huge silvery one to the right of the water lily and a bright orange one again to the right.

A lovely day out with good friends, in sunshine, on a Sunday is hard to beat!

Lurgan Park

Today I visited Lurgan Park with my nephews Dean and Kyle, and my niece Kelsie and my friend P.  It is a fabulous parkland with a huge manmade lake.  We saw several ducks and lots of swans - this family of 6 cygnets and 1 parent were marvellous to see.

The kids had fun at the brilliant playpark and enjoyed the walk around the lake - pretending to dive in especially for the photo opportunity!

To end the day we 'Hit the Hut' - thirsty work having fun !
